Marks: (deals extra damage per hit)
Whenever you deal successfully hit a creature with an attack with an unarmed, finesse, or ranged weapon while you either have advantage or an allied creature is within 5 feet of the target creature and you don’t have disadvantage, you may either apply a mark or advance a mark you have learned by expending a slot of the appropriate level. For instance, if you were to hit an enemy already under the effects of the Center Mass mark, you could either expend a 1st level mark slot to apply another mark you have learned or expend a 2nd level mark slot to advance the Center Mass mark to 2nd degree. On a critical hit, you can choose to immediately apply a 2nd degree mark by expending a 2nd level slot or advance a 1st degree mark to 3rd degree by expending a 3rd level mark slot.
In addition to any effects granted by the Mark, you deal extra damage as indicated by your Mark damage chart on any attack on a Marked creature, including the triggering attack. Other creatures do not benefit from this damage. You may apply this extra damage only once per spell or weapon attack.
